There is a small body of water with a beautiful gazebo in Hopkinton, MA. My friend, Chris, and I had been talking about shooting this scene for about two years and we finally brought it to fruition yesterday.

This image was taken with a Canon 5D Mark II using the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8IS L. The base of this image is a 9 exposure HDR image with an exposure blend on the water from a single shot using a Lee Big Stopper and a Lee .9 Warm Soft Grad ND filter. I took this shot during my last visit to Portland, OR. I met up with my colleagues at onOne Software along with the fantastic photographer, Vincent Versace. We had a great time despite the light rain that was coming down.

This is a single exposure taken with my Canon 5D Mark II and Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L lens along with the Lee Big Stopper 10-stop ND filter to drag the shutter and get silky motion in the water fall.
